Castellare di Tonda is located in the heart of Tuscany, at an ideal short distance to some of the most important cultural cities of the area:  Siena, Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano and Volterra.

From highway A1 (Milan - Rome)

  • Exit at FIRENZE-SCANDICCI.
  • Continue on highway (“Superstrada”) S.G.C. towards Pisa-Livorno. Exit at SAN MINIATO and continue towards that locality until you reach the intersection for PONTEDERA.
  • At CATENA, turn left towards San Miniato, keep going until you reach the junction and take the road to MONTAIONE.
  • After the village of CORAZZANO, the road separates: Continue straight to Sughera, turn left towards San Vivaldo and keep going until you reach the reception of Castellare di Tonda.

From highway A12 (Genoa - Livorno)

  • Exit at PISA CENTRO.
  • ITake highway (“Superstrada”) S.G.C. towards Florence. Exit at SAN MINIATO and continue towards that locality until you reach the intersection for PONTEDERA.
  • At CATENA, turn left towards San Miniato, keep going until you reach the junction and take the road to MONTAIONE.
  • After the village of CORAZZANO, the road separates: Continue straight to Sughera, turn left towards San Vivaldo and keep going until you reach the reception of Castellare di Tonda.

From highway A1 (Rome - Milan)

Highway A1 (Rome - Milan)

  • Exit at VALDICHIANA  and take the state road (“strada statale”) of Siena-Bettolle, up to Siena
  • Take the Siena-to-Florence highway (“Supersrada”) until Poggibonsi and continue towards San Giminiano.
  • Keep going towards Gambassi Terme and Castelfiorentino; at CASTAGNO you’ll find a junction: turn left towards San Vivaldo and follow our “Castellare di Tonda Resort and Spa” signs.
