Our wines

At Castellare di Tonda, wine has been produced for over 30 years.

From our San Giovese vineyards, Chianti and Casalone good wines are produced, i.e. the best expression of San Giovese obtained from the oldest vineyards, which are also the most widespread on the estate. Our wine is matured for 15 months in French barriques, then refined in bottles for 6 months

We also produce white wine, Solaria, from Tuscan Trebbiano, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc vineyards, the wine ferments in modern stainless steel tanks.

Castellare di Tonda wine cellars are open for guided visits and for tasting our wines, olive oil and other farm produce.
