From A1 Motorway BOLOGNA - FLORENCE
Exit Florence SCANDICCI. Continue driving on the freeway Superstrada S.G.C. towards PISA-LIVORNO (Leghorn).
After approx. 35 km, exit at SAN MINIATO, and proceed towards San Miniato.
Up the road, at the fork ( <= San Miniato / Pontedera =>) turn right towards PONTEDERA (this is a diversion from the centre of S. Miniato and its narrow streets).
After 1 km approx., just after CATENA village entry sign, turn left towards S. Miniato.
After 2 km approx., at the fork take the direction of MONTAIONE and always follow this road sign. (Notice: after the S.Miniato end sign, at the second fork turn left towards Montaione).
After approx. 7 km you drive through Corazzano village. About 4.5 km after the end of this village, the road splits: proceed straight on, following SUGHERA signs and driving past ALBERI.
After another 2.5 km turn left towards San Vivaldo. After 1.2 km you will arrive at the reception (a house on the right side of the road).
From motorway A 12 GENOA-PISA
Exit PISA CENTRO (Galileo Galilei airport). Continue driving on the freeway Superstrada S.G.C. towards Florence. After approx. 42 km take the exit SAN MINIATO, and proceed towards San Miniato. Continue as indicated above!
From A1 Motorway ROME-FLORENCE
Exit Florence-SCANDICCI. Continue as indicated above!
OR: A1 Motorway from Rome, Exit Valdichiana, national road SIENA - BETTOLLE up to Siena. Take Superstrada SIENA-FLORENCE to POGGIBONSI, from Poggibonsi up to S.GIMIGNANO, from S. Gimignano to GAMBASSI TERME and CASTELFIORENTINO. At CASTAGNO turn left towards S. VIVALDO, from now on follow indications for CASTELLARE DI TONDA.
