  • Is the final cleaning cost included in the weekly price of the apartment ?
    No, it is not included and you have to pay it only once per stay.
  • Is bed linen provided?
    Yes, bed linen (and a weekly change) is provided once a week and it is included in the final cleaning price.
  • Are the consumptions included in the price?
    Yes, all the consumptions are included (electricity, water, gas, heating) .
  • What is not included in the price ?
    The final cleaning costs and some of our facilities as riding, tennis, golf, mini club, barbecues etc.
  • Is it possible to make special requests concerning the apartments?
    Yes, all requests made by the customer (e.g. ground floor, bigger living room etc.) will be satisfied if possible.
  • Are there also quieter, more secluded apartments?
    Yes.
  • Are there farmsteads more suitable for families with children ?
    Yes, all the farmstead with the swimming pool for adults and the swimming pool for children .
  • Is there the Mini Club ? From what age are the children accepted?
    Yes, we have a mini club for children from 3 to 12 years old with multilingual baby sitters (English, French, German, Dutch).
  • Is there also a baby sitting service?
    Yes, on request.
  • Are the room provided with the baby bed ?
    No, the baby bed (for children under 3 years) but also the extra bed should be asked when you book and they cost Euro 30,00 per week.
  • Is it possible to request accommodation of several families in the same farmstead?
    Yes, it is possible to request the same farmstead or apartments next to each other.
  • Do all the apartments have a garden?
    Yes, each apartment (even those on the first floor) has its own private area in the garden of the farmstead with table, chairs and deckchairs.
  • Is it possible to book the half board when we are there?
    No, the half board (breakfast and dinner) should be booked at the moment of the reservation.
  • Are there special services for groups?
    Yes, groups are welcomed in specific periods for meetings/incentives with the possibility to have half- or full-board, coffee breaks, meeting room. Please ask for more information and price quotations.
  • Is it possible to stay for less than one week?
    Yes, but not in the high season.
  • Is there an internet access?
    Yes, we have a WI-FI all around the central building where you also find the reception, the bar and the restaurant. Other WI-FI zones are at all around the farmsteads: Castellare, Palazzina, San Nicola, Pietrafitta and Fornace.
  • Are there swimming pools and when do they open?
    Yes, there is a swimming pool at each farmstead and in some of them (Campiano, Casanuova, San Carlo and Aietta) there is also the swimming pool for children. The swimming pools are open from 1st May to 15th October.
  • Are pets admitted?
    Yes, pets are admitted without additional costs (please highlight that when you book).
  • Are there double rooms with double beds?
    Yes, all the apartments with two bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and two twin beds. If required at the reservation we will try to fulfil all your requests.
    • Is there a telephone in the apartments?
    No, but you will find a public telephone outside the reception.
  • Is there the television with satellite?
    Yes, in some of our farmsteads.
  • Is there a car parking?
    Yes, there is a large parking in front of the Reception and the Restaurant and one parking at each farmstead.
  • What time is check-in and check-out?
    Check-in: on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m./Check-out: on Saturday before 10 a.m.
  • Where is the nearest railway station?
    In Castelfiorentino (15 Km)
  • What languages are spoken at the Reception?
    English, French and German.
  • How far are Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa from Castellare?
    Florence ~ approx. 52 km, Siena ~ approx. 50 km, Lucca ~ approx. 50 km, Pisa ~ approx. 55 km.
  • Is there a market open on Sunday?
    Yes, there is a mini-market in the estate open also on Sundays.
  • Do you have your own wine production?
    Yes, at Catellare di Tonda is possible to buy our wines, olive oil and honey. For more info click on “our produce” .
  • Where is the nearest village?
    The nearest village is Montaione which is 8 Km far.
    • Is there a laundry facility?
    Yes, in the estate there are 3 washing machines.
  • Is there a reception service at night?
    No, the reception is open until 8.00 p.m.
